Evaluate and compare Mr. Escalante’s and Raquel’s views on student performance and how to improve it. Analyze the lives of some of Mr. Escalante’s students and how determine how they overcome obstacles. This movie inspires students to realize that the only thing holding back performance is persistence, grit and self-confidence.

This resource consists of 10 high-level, short answer and essay questions that will do more than just ask your students to regurgitate information.
